904VIEWS: From the Rooftops

Rooftop bars are a recent growing trend in development projects in Riverside, downtown, and San Marco.

They allow for more bar space, which is particularly valuable when restoring historic buildings given the often-limited amount of space available. And they take advantage of the beautiful scenery of the St. Johns River and the city’s skyline.

We’re highlighting a few of our favorite views created by relatively new rooftop bars in Jax.

COWFORD CHOPHOUSE

The new downtown venue offers a great view of the Main Street Bridge as well as some of downtown’s skyscrapers.

HOPTINGER

Hoptinger’s location in Riverside lets you look out onto the activity of Five Points – which can make for a particularly fascinating people-watching excursion at night.
